This First Edition First Printing copy of “Amy’s Goose”, by Efner Tudor Holmes and illustrated by Tasha Tudor, was published in 1977 by the Thomas Y. Crowell Company of New York. This children’s book, which measures approximately 8 inches wide by 7 ¼ inches tall, contains 32 pages of text and beautiful watercolor illustrations devoted to the story of Amy, who nurses a wild goose back to health and struggles to decide whether to keep it on the farm or let it be free. The book is hardbound with illustrations on both the front and back covers. The cover is enclosed in a dust jacket which has the same illustrations on it front and rear faces. The book has a sticker on the inside front cover indicating the bookstore from which the book was first purchased. Other than that, the book is in like new condition. The dust jacket has a “ding” partway down the fold of the rear flap, but otherwise would also be in like new condition.
