This Set of Four (4) Japanese Children’s Fairy Tale Picture Books portray familiar Japanese fairy tales in the format of graphic novels. Each book represents its story in Japanese text, accompanied by beautiful full-color illustrations. All the books are ex-library. According to entries in the library check-out records in some of the books, it appears that they were all probably published in the 1940s. The individual books are:

Ushiwakamaru (possibly the name of a samurai warrior in the 1300s) - The subject of the book is believed to be the life and adventures of a samurai warrior of the 1300s.
